Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 170°C (fan forced).
- Lightly grease a 6-pan muffin tray with a drop of oil.
- Add flour, bicarb soda, caster sugar to a large bowl. Sieve in the cocoa and stir to combine.
- Beat the egg, milk and oil together in a jug.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the mixture, stirring quickly.
- Spoon batter into the muffin tray and bake for 15 minutes (until risen and firm).
- Using a microwave, heat the custard according to instructions on packaging. Add chocolate pieces and stir until smooth.
- Pour custard over muffins to serve.
