Instructions
- Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat and add bacon, cooking for 5 minutes or until crisp
- Add mince to the pan, breaking it up with a spoon so it cooks evenly. Cook for 15 minutes or until brown
- Add onions, capsicums, garlic and chilli and cook for 5 minutes or until vegetables are soft
- Add chilli powder and cook for a further 1 minute
- Add tomatoes and 1 cup of cold water and bring to the boil
- Reduce heat to medium/low and simmer partially covered for 30 minutes or until sauce has reduced
- Add beans and increase to medium heat, cooking for 15 minutes until the sauce has thickened
- Serve with suggested toppings, if desired
