Open Day at ENT Clinic
Here at ENT Clinic, we are hosting a Health & Beauty Open Day. Ever thought that you might be interested in a cosmetic dermatology treatment? Need some skincare guidance? What foods should you eat for optimal skin health? This day is your chance to come and ask the questions to find out more. Three of our health professionals will be offering their expertise on the day.
Services available will include:
- Certified Dermalogica skin therapist performing Face Mapping
- Holistic wellbeing and skin health
- Fillers and muscle relaxants
- Medical nutrition therapy
- Diet and healthy skin
- Explanation of calories and kilojoules
Optimal skin health is affected by what we do every day, and looking after your skin is more than skin deep. Alex will be providing Dermalogica Face Mapping, professional product recommendations, and holistic wellbeing advice for the best skin care.
Dermalogica’s Face Map the Nation
Dermalogica is on a mission to perform 14,000 free Face Maps by the end of 2014! This is a great opportunity to discuss your skincare concerns and learn more about the unique landscape of your face. By assessing the fourteen unique zones of your face, Face Mapping provides an accurate look at your skincare needs and professional product recommendations.
Face Mapping encorporates principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In TCM, the face is believed to be a map of the whole body, and areas of concern may highlight a disruption to different body systems. For example, congestion between the eyebrows is the “wine and dine” area, and the neck is related to adrenal stimulation and stress. Understanding our skincare concerns might be more than skin deep!
To help Dermalogica reach their goal, Alex will be providing free Face Mapping all day during our Open Day. Consultation with skincare nurse Alex with our dermatologist Dr Hanna Kuchel on site.
When it comes to radiant skin, having a healthy diet is just as important as having a good skin regime or therapeutic treatments. It can assist in the prevention of dull and flaky or regularly blemished skin. Belinda will be offering advice on general healthy eating and nutrients that are particularly beneficial for your skin.
Nutrient deficiencies can often present themselves through changes in the health of your skin, nails and hair. However, many people do not make the connection between diet and skin health. This is another area our dietitian Belinda can discuss with you and provide information on.
Useful nutrition handouts will be provided on the day to help you achieve glowing skin.
