Speech Pathology Australia Certified Practicing member (SPA)
Ashleigh Fattah completed her Master of Speech and Language Pathology Degree at Macquarie University. Prior to that she graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology). Ashleigh has experience and expertise with individual and group speech therapy from a spectrum of clinical environments including hospitals, schools and private practice. Rebates
There are a variety of rebates and funding available when seeking speech pathology services. At ENT Wellbeing Speech Pathology, patients and parents can claim their consultations and treatment under the following systems:
Medicare
The Chronic Disease Management Plan or Enhanced Primary Care Program from Medicare covers up to 5 sessions per year. This rebate is available through your GP.
FaHCSIA
The Helping Children with Autism Package is available for children with ASD or a PDD and covers up to 20 treatment sessions before the child’s age of 13. Rebate amounts may vary, please contact us for more information.
Betterstart
The Betterstart Children with a Disability Initiative applies to children under the age of 6. Up to $12,000 can be claimed for treatment and intervention. Rebate amounts may vary, please contact us for more information.
Private Health Care
Private speech pathology is covered under many health funds, check with your insurer for policy cover and rebates.
