Roasted Balsamic Onions with Thyme March 6, 2015 By @entwellbeing Roasted Balsamic Onions with Thyme Serves: 4 Time to make: 55 minutes Ingredients 6 red onions (small, peeled and cut into wedges) 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 3 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves (chopped) 1 tablespoon brown sugar Nutrition (per serve) Energy: 125kJ Calories: 30cal Protein: 1g Fat: 0g – saturated: 0g Carbohydrates: 6g – sugars: 5g Dietary Fibre: 0.5g Sodium: 6mg Instructions Pre-heat oven to 200°C. Line a tray with baking paper and place onions onto the tray. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and a sprinkle of sugar. Roast for 45 minutes, until the balsamic has evaporated. Serve with thyme.
