Honey Garlic Chicken Crockpot August 8, 2014 By @entwellbeing Honey Garlic Chicken Crockpot Serves: 4 Time to make: 4-8 hours Ingredients 4 Chicken Breasts (130g each) ½ Cup Honey 3 Tablespoons Reduced Salt Soy Sauce 1 Inch Fresh Ginger (Grated) 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice 2 Teaspoons Sesame Oil 4 Garlic Cloves (Crushed) 1 Teaspoon Vinegar (Rice Wine) 1 Yellow Onion (Medium and Diced) 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon Water Salt & Pepper (seasoning) Pinch Sesame Seeds Nutrition (per serve) Energy: 1318kJ Calories: 315cal Protein: 33.2g Fat: 3.8g Carbohydrates: 39.2g – sugars: 36.2g Dietary Fibre: 0.6g Sodium: 493.9mg Instructions Lightly spray in the inside of a slow cooker. Toss in all ingredients into a crock-pot, leaving cornstarch and water on the side. Stir well until combined. Replace lid and cook on a high heat for 4-6 hours or a low heat for 6-8 hours. Half an hour prior to serving, mix together water and corn starch. Pour into the slow cook and allow cooking for the remaining half hour to thicken. Once done, remove the lid and stir. Serve warm with steamed vegetables or rice.
