The Best Face Masque for Breakout Prone Skin
As some of you may already know from reading my articles, I love Dermalogica products! and I have very problematic skin which is prone to breakouts, but I also have dry areas, what a nightmare!
The reason I am such an advocate for Dermalogica is because since I started using it 2 years ago my sensitive spot prone skin has been so much better.
To control the breakouts and minimize the appearance of my pores I use Sebum Clearing masque. I use it 3 times a week and the result is I very rarely breakout anymore and if I have a breakout and use the masque it minimize the appearance of the spots by reducing redness and inflammation.
I just love this product. It is so cooling on the skin and I feel you get a great deep cleanse from it. It contains Kaolin and Bentonite clay that helps to absorb excess oil, refine pores and clear congestion. The salicylic acid helps stimulate natural exfoliation and minimize acne formation. The zinc Gluconate and Caffeine help control sebum production and help reduce inflammation and that is to name but a few of the active ingredients.
I love the feeling of the masque on my face and it has a lovely fresh smell. I always feel my face has gotten a good clean after I have used it and my skin feels nice and tight. It retails at approximately $60 for 75ml tube which may sound expensive but it lasts a long time.
The only down side to this mask is if you’re like me and you suffer from dry skin in the areas other than the T-zone it dries out them areas even more. I find to combat this and reap the benefits of the mask, I only apply it to my T-zone and this works just as well and I don’t have to worry about drying out my other skin.
