Baked Pears with Amaretti February 19, 2014 By @entwellbeing Serves: 4 Time to make: 5 minutes (Preparation) 20 minutes (Cooking) Ingredients 4 Pears (Ripe) 8 Amaretti Biscuits (Crisp) 100g Ricotta 4 Tablespoons Honey (Clear) ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon Nutrition (per serve) Energy: 828kJ Calories: 198cal Protein: 4g Fat: 4g – saturated 2g Carbohydrates: 39g – sugars: 32g Dietary Fibre: 4g Sodium: 230mg Instructions Pre-heat over to 190°C (fan-forced). On a large baking tray, cut ear pear into halves and place onto the tray. Using a teaspoon, scoop out the cores and make a dip in the centre. Fill each dip with 1 heaped teaspoon of ricotta and top with cinnamon and a drizzle of honey. Roast the pears for 10 minutes. Using a rolling pin, tip Amaretti into a food bag and lightly crush them. When the pears have been removed from the over, scatter the crumbs over each pear. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the biscuit is golden brown. Drizzle with honey to serve.
